In a world where we started having a hard time differentiating between the friend and the foe, the truth and the lies, came the dream of bringing back to life the dying noble art of healing. Our agonizing world becomes deprived of the most basic human values that are a must in the world of medicine: compassion, honesty, empathy and above all Do-No-Harm.
Our current medical system is pathetic: patients complain of lack of empathy and connection with their providers, find no relief in the prescribed interventions and feel hopeless in getting answers to their deteriorating health. Healthcare providers complain of burn out, lack of time and appreciation from their frustrated patients. Between both hopeless ends, the noble values of the art of healing are lost.
From this dilemma, emerged Ihsane's Family Health (IFH), like a breeze on a hot, humid summer day. A break station for both patients and providers; a safe haven where the provider is intrinsically motivated to generously provide the most comprehensive and compassionate care ; and a grateful, faithful and determined patient who proactively engage in his health quest with a fully trusted and well respected provider that he connects with at the human level before the professional one.
who are the members of IFH
IFH is one family that consists of two exceptional categories of individuals: exceptional providers and exceptional patients. That being said, neither any provider, nor any patient can be part of our sacred family.
Providers who look for status, charisma, fame, material gains at any cost cannot be part of IFH family simply because they can find their quest in other places much faster and easier than in our practice.
Similarly, patients who put all the responsibility of their health on the provider to find " that magic pill" that " fixes all" would be very unsatisfied in our family because we do not provide such services.

We stand out from the crowd by being a business built by a woman to mainly serve women. Whether giving clinical Ob/gyn care at the reputable Women Caring for Women Clinic (WCFW) in Brooklyn or at the present primary care IFH, we believe that only a caring female provider can understand the complex nature of the woman and is able to address her emotional concerns and needs before the physical ones. Family's Health
Our approach is based on functional medicine model: address the root cause of the problem instead of putting a bandaid on it. From chronic and preventable diseases such type II diabetes and hypertension to acute ones like cold and flu, our approach is not as simple as diagnosing and treating with medications.
